Being Rent Ready

The difference in securing housing and being denied repeatedly is the level of understanding applicants have about the process from the perspectives of  Property Managers and Property Owners.

The applicant's perspective is important too; But the Property Manager and Property Owner hold the big cards!

This course gives the rental community valuable information as it was written from the perspectives of property owners, property managers and supportive housing specialists.

Supportive Housing Organizations:

a. With attending clients will see an increased number of approved rental applications.

b. Who send representatives to attend will learn how to preserve resources for their organization. Better informed  representatives can lead to resources recycled back to the organization and clients who are housed for longer periods of time which boils down to the Organization's abiity to help more families.

c. Landlords and community partners of Supportive Housing Organizations will be encouraged to remain partners knowing that attendees have taken a course in responsible tenancy.

This workshop is critical in so that fewer renters are adversely impacted by negative credit marks, poor rental history and excessive financial judgements owed to previous Landlords.
